Located on a tranquil spot on beautiful Pak Nam Beach, Phi Phi Relax Resort offers simple bungalows up on the hillside and steps from excellent snorkelling spots. Surrounded by tropical gardens, they all have private balconies with views out to sea or the tropical landscape.

Phi Phi Relax Resort is a 25-minute boat ride from the main pier in Ton Sai Bay. Boat transfers from Tonsai Pier to the resort are available 4 times a day at an extra charge. Conveniently situated between Ran Ti Bay and Lo Bao Kao Bay, the resort offers a variety of island tours and excursions.

Bungalows are simply furnished, featuring thatched roofs and bamboo walls. They have an en suite bathroom with a shower and offer views of the ocean or tropical landscape.

Guests can enjoy snorkelling at the colourful reef, rent out a kayak or just relax in a deck chair or hammock looking out to the neighbouring islands. Pampering massages and fishing trips are also available. For more adventure, follow the trail up through the jungle to town.

For convenience, the resort provides a restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They offer Thai and Western dishes, and refreshing cocktails and fruit juices at the Beach Bar. Very nice resort with own private beach. Nice restaurant and friendly staff.

It’s good to know that the resort is located about 20 minutes from Phi Phi pier and that it is only accessible by boat.

Paradise in phi phi

Very calm location with great view and sea. The water is clear, very good to swim. The breakfast was very good and the staff always very helpful and kind.

You need to pay 150bath/person for a oneway boat from pier to resort as well as to return. This happens because the resort is a little way from the main pier in phi phi, something that we already knew. If you are searching for a place away from the main center, that is not a problem.

Beach front bungalows amazing but very remote location!

It is a stunning property in a beautiful location, if you want to be away from town and night life. Perfect to completely relax and switch off.

We had a bit of a disaster on our first night. We got the boat from the resort to the town, when we were leaving the lady at reception failed to mention that we were going at a time that would make it difficult to get back. When we got to town we asked the boat taxi men about a return boat and they said no problem boats run all night. They don't however if sea is rough. They told me to ring hotel because they have a bigger speed boat who would come and get us. It was only 9 pm but hotel said absolutely no, we would need to find alternative accomodation in town. The walk to hotel is about an hour, so we attempted to give that a go. But in the dark in the jungle the route is impossible, we ended up completely lost! Eventually we found a mountain top hotel that gave us a room for the night. Next day first boat back to resort isn't until 11.30 am. So we missed out on our first night and most of next morning all because receptionist didn't advise us about leaving the resort at the time we did. The rest of our stay was bliss. But if you book here you should really be aware just how remote it is. Also, because of this I think they could really do with some entertainment at night. Maybe some live music? There was a fire show one night which was great but apart from that, you only have restaurant and bar.

The beach location & staff were lovely & welcoming! Food was very good , The trips were amazing !

This resort was very quiet and relaxing. Loved the food and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The food at the restaurant was excellent! Beach was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Resort was quiet. Great hiking trail up to the viewpoint.

Having to take a longboat to the resort and having to pay extra for it. It was difficult to get into the water when the tide was low due to all the rocks.

Amazing for adapatable guests. Prepare for a rustic environment and go for the nature.

Location and view, activities available to hire, food and staff.

The cabins were much more rustic than expected. This should be highlighted in the description, the cabins feel a bit lower level than the ad on booking. Mattresses are firm, bathroom is a bit shabby. And fan set up is not sufficient to cool the room down. The ocean view is incredible. And staff and food were great. I would probably choose more carefully next time as I prefer more comfortable rooms.

Although we had a relaxing stay and the accommodation is comfortable and adequate we did miss having a fridge and tea

The beach has limited sunshine due to being east facing and the tide comes in quickly so constantly looking for sun space . There are not any sunbeds and deckchairs are limited .

Superb. Lovely staff. Excellent food. Punches way way above its two star rating.

Brilliant value for money. Lovely to be away from the main town. Felt very peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful staff - super helpful. Food was superb and a broad menu. Cheap kayaking. Loved our three days here. Loved arriving by long tail boat and wading through the sea.

For the money it was perfect. If it was rated higher, I’d expect more plugs in the bedroom - had to turn off fans to use the socket. A few power cuts but only lasted a few seconds.

Wonderful

The best thing about this resort is probably the vibe. You’re a bit stuck on the beach and resort and it’s not super large, so you’re basically chilling on the beach , having a drink or a meal or taking a nap on your balcony. The snorkling was better than expected. The kitchen staff made alterations to all the meals we asked to have with tofu, as there are very few vegetarian meals on the menu! Very much appreciated! All the staff were kind and helpful.

It took us a day to get used to all the boat traffic. The longtail boats are noisy and many boats arrive on the beach every day with the shuttle and for different trips. We were a bit naïve not to expect this, but we got used to it and it became part of the experience.

I loved the location! The monkeys near the bungalow was cute. The private beach was lovely. Be aware that it is hard to walk to the main part of the island at night!

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the restaurant atmosphere. We loved our massage, and I recommend Lan. We enjoyed the lush tropical landscape, the beach, listening to the waves at night, watching and listening to the monkeys, frogs, and birds. The tropical bungalows are lovely to see.

The bungalows that only have fans are quite rustic and have basic amenities. They a small with no room to put things. The double bed was shoved up against the wall. There is no ceiling fan. When using the mosquito netting at night the fan air isn't strong enough to circulate the air through the thick netting. So the room is stuffy and hot. The bathroom isn't sealed off enough to protect guests from the Mosquitoes. There are open slots between the wall panels, roof, and floor boards that the mosquitoes can fly through into the cabin. The roof leaked all over the bathroom when it rained. I do not recommend this resort if you have knee or mobility issues. The cement steps up to the bungalows are high, the wood steps are narrow with no depth, some are tilted down. The had railing only on one side, and there are uneven stones on the side path up to the cabin. About 1 month prior to my arrival date I sent an email message to the resort to make reservations to attend the resort cooking class,the theme meals, and entertainment. But when I checked in to this resort the manager said cooking classes and theme meals were not offered during this season. The staff could have been truthful at the time when I messaged them about the availabilty of cooking classes, theme meals, and entertainment. Even though the beach is in a beautiful setting, it is very rocky, and unsafe to swim and snorkel during low tide. We did ask the manager for a refund for 4 nights within an hour of checking in, but the manager declined our request. She said we have an option to move to the 2nd floor of their apartment building if we wanted to switch our accommondations. We declined since the apartment building was a run down tenament building, noisy, with 2 levels of several stairs, and has an uneven pathway leading up to the apartment. Our reservation was for 5 nights. We checked out after 2 nights due to the various problems we encountered at this resort.

Very Good

Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort was an amazing 6-day get away for our family. We booked 2 bungalows on the beach where we could spend lazy days playing in the sand and snorkeling. There is a wonderful coral reef right in front of the hotel where we spent our days. No need to take a tour. We took a half day snorkeling tour and discovered the reef in front of the hotel was far superior. The resort is quite remote which means that most mealtimes are spent at the hotel restaurant. To leave the resort, you need to either take a longtail boat or hike many kms through the jungle trails (which are beautiful but not so practical to get around). The restaurant has a large selection of both Asian and Western cuisines and the cooks were very accommodating for allergies and picky children. Every evening they had a special meal, like grilled fish, chicken etc..in order to add a bit of variety to things (especially for guests who stay more than a couple nights.)

This hotel might not be for everyone. The bungalows are very basic and there is no AC. This did not bother our family. There was enough of a breeze in the evening and there were hardly any mosquitos in early January so we could keep our windows open until the bungalow cooled off. There is hot water in the showers, but the pressure is very low. Again, this was not a big concern for us and we were able to take proper showers...it just took a bit more time.

Oustanding family holiday. Great food, exceptional authentic location for a complete relax.

The resort was as expected, on an idyllic beach, relaxed and gorgeous. Staff were outstanding, friendly and attentive. Our family with teens enjoyed the location and relaxation. Afternoon soccer, games at the beach bar and the best Mango shakes ever were a highlight. Nice mix of nationalities and ages at the resort. Highly recommend the fire show - it was truly amazing. We took the fast boat and then the longboat to the resort, and spent only slightly more on the return directly back to phuket on the Phi Phi relax speed boat, which was so much nicer! It was good to see tonsai peer, but waiting around in the sun minding bags while the family explored was less so! The day trip snorkelling and to various local attractions was a great way to spend the day and see some of the magnificent coastlines and islands.

The beach bure could have benefited from an update but was perfectly comfortable, but not quite mozzie proof! Luckily I packed a roll on mosquito repellant. The stair/ladder up to our hut were also very slippery with wet or sandy feet.
